We started The Homeschool Studio because we understand — as homeschool parents ourselves — the pressure, the juggle, and the deep desire to give your kids the best.
We saw the need for a place where parents could have a break, and kids could come together to learn, socialise, and grow in community. A place that supports both education and wellbeing, for families like ours.
Our passion is creating a space that’s more than just academic — it’s about connection, confidence, and real-life learning. Because homeschooling doesn’t have to mean doing it all alone.

Ronel Bezuidenhout


Ronel is a fully accredited secondary Mathematics teacher with a deep passion for making learning meaningful and practical. As a homeschooling mum of two girls, she brings both professional expertise and personal experience to The Homeschool Studio.

Ronel believes education should be about more than just textbooks — it should build confidence, curiosity, and real-life skills. With her calm, supportive approach, she helps students truly understand concepts, not just memorise them.

Karen Haasbroek

Karen is a Chartered Professional Accountant and homeschooling mum of three. With a strong background in finance and business, she brings a wealth of real-world knowledge to The Homeschool Studio — along with a deep passion for helping young people build confidence in maths, problem-solving, and creative thinking.

As a homeschool parent herself, Karen understands the challenges families face and is committed to creating a space where students not only learn academic skills but also develop practical life skills they’ll use well into adulthood.
